The workshop was an opportunity to look at the process of migration - adaptation and acculturation - which is faced by the immigrants. During the workshop we will seek for the answer to the questions: "What is the best way to have a good living in Poland? What do you need to learn? How to use what you have brought with you? What is difficult and what are the opportunities? What is Polish culture and how do you feel in it?"

Meeting 4
HOW DO YOU DO? - ABOUT COMMUNICATION IN ANOTHER CULTURE

December 9, 2017, Saturday
The workshop aims at looking at differences in communication. Beginning with the differences between the interpersonal styles and cultural differences, we are constantly confronted by a lack of understanding and inability to express ourselves. How to influence the effectiveness of the message and to enjoy the communication? How to ensure your comfort in conversation, discussion, negotiation and confrontation? How to get ready for a conversation with someone difficult or important?
